Dating An Older Woman Shouldn’t Be Scary

Men are interested in dating older women because they are more experienced and more capable of handling relationships smoothly. Older women are more mature, financially independent, and good lovers.

Younger men have been attracted to older women for a long time. This happens because older women are mature, know what expect from life, and do
not care about what the ‘neighbours say’. If in the past this was a big shame, today these couples are not keeping in secret any more their relationship.

Dating older woman can be a nice and exciting experience. If you are a person interested in dating older woman, you must think before because there are good parts and bad parts.

Some of the bad parts are that she has passed over in life and has many worries. She has ex-boyfriends, husbands, children’s, pending divorces, financial obligations, debts. Maybe your friends will consider you a hero, but your friends will talk about you, frown upon you. Remember that she is older than you are, has life experience, so she is often in control, and would like to manipulate you.

The good part is that she knows a lot about female-male relationships. She knows very well what she wants and from whom and they usually looking for a man that consider like them that compatibility and open communication are more important than age. They do not need a man to take care of them. Older women are forthright and honest and they will tell you right off, what she thinks about you so you do not have to wonder where you stand with her.

It is necessary that you find an older woman who is interested in a younger man. You will have bigger chances of success to win her heart. If you already have a date with her, do not blow up. Here are some helpful tips for attracting her.

Be yourself. She is dating you because she likes you; you offer her spontaneity and fun. So, do not even think about impersonating someone that you are not.

Take her somewhere she has never been before; show her that you are different from other men your age. Invite her at a jazz club, concert or an exotic restaurant.

You must change the topic of your discussions. Ask about her job, hobbies, what type of music she likes… Lady is smart, confident and mature, so do not discuss about age. You should be confident too.

Be spontaneous. Offer her something that people her age cannot, like excitement in and out of the bed. She is usually not looking for a serious relationship – she just wants to have fun. However, it is true that older women can do a lot for a younger man – besides sex.

Do not compare her to your ex. This would not make her feel better with you. The older woman can feel comfortable being with you even if you are younger and it will be at ease with your presence. Make her feel important and show her that you are interested in her.
You have to have the same intensity about life like her. You must know that an older woman will never wake you in the middle of the night to ask what you are thinking, and this should not bother to you.

Do not move too fast. You know that she is not looking to make fast a family, because she already had one and that one failed. Maybe she already has children’s and this will complicate things. You should always be willing to accept the complications that come with dating an older woman.

Successful Online Dating #3 – Write Great Emails

And today’s tip number three!

3. Write Great Emails

OK, you’ve joined a dating site, you’ve searched for other members who fall within your specified categories, and you’ve been presented with a page of matching profiles.

You’re eager to fire off a few emails…but what on earth do you say in them?

Re-read my tips from earlier in the week about creating a great profile and apply the same rules to the first email that you send to another member. If it looks like you can’t be bothered to say much or that you’re sending the same one line message to several people, then they probably won’t bother to reply. Personalise each method. Tell that person a little about who you are and why you think you might both be compatible – respond directly to what you’ve read in that person’s profile – sound interested and interesting and you’ll get an email by return – sound boring and downbeat and you’ll just be ignored.

Of course, not all dating platforms (Tinder, I’m looking at you!) allow for this kind of interaction at first, but at some point you’ll have to get chatting!

Dating Online Is Not A Contest

It’s time for some people reading this to grow up. The word of online dating is not a competition between competing males vying for the attention of a female. You need to be in the mindset of finding rather than winning. It’s not school anymore and your attitude is the most important asset you have. Remember as well; your ideal of the “perfect man” is unlikely to be the same as your ideal woman’s view.

So what is it that women want, I hear you ask? It’s an age old question and if I could answer it then we could all go home now and be happy ever after. Being a female myself, what I can tell you is a few things women definitely DON’T want!

1. Women want confidence, not arrogance. There is a big difference here. You need to like yourself for whom you are, be confident in being yourself and not being self deprecating. You absolutely must not come across as if you’re a gift to them. They don’t like the idea you think they’re God’s gift from heaven. That’s one heck of an expectation to live up to and women just don’t need that kind of stress.

2. Women want communication. Strong and silent really doesn’t get you too far in the long run. It’s not appealing or original and they probably think the same about you if that’s the attitude you take. Women want you to be interesting and fun to be around.

3. Women are not a prize. So many men I’ve been on dates with to discuss on-line dating seem to think that women are their trophy. They want to be the ONE woman you want to be with; not the only one that responded.

Avoiding Shyness On A Date

So – you’re on a date and things have got a little awkward. You’ve run out of things to say. How to you save things and avoid coming across super shy?

1. Give Her A Compliment

I used to be enormously shy myself, but one thing that always broke the ice was when the guy would pay me a compliment. That moment of acceptance momentairly jars your brain and kicks you out of the super shy feeling. Make sure it’s something lovely though, perhaps about her lifestyle or personality, rather than just looks.

2. Ask An Open Question

Stop with the yes/no questions and ask something that actually requires some thought to respond. Questions establish a basis for effective communication and effective questions open the door to understanding. The art is to know which questions to ask and when. Definitely go for ‘why’ and ‘how’ questions and she’ll feel that you are interested. Make sure you don’t stray onto any conversation topics that might be a little too risque at first however 😉

3. Listen, Listen (oh, and Listen)

When a woman starts to talk about her favourite topics, many men will lose interest or try and steer the conversation away too quickly. This is a massive mistake and women will detect this! Women love to exchange jokes and anecdotes as well, and perhaps she’s currently on her way to telling you an interesting story. Give her a chance to finish and you will be rewarded.

Who Not To Date At Uni – A Sabbatical Officer

The second type of person not to date at Uni:

A Sabbatical Officer

Sabbs are students who’ve taken a year off either during or after their cource to take on various positions in Students’ Unions. Often these will be positions voted in by a general vote of the student population. Sabbs are often responsible for student wellbeing, activities, sports or representation.

It might seem great dating someone vaguely important, but it’s not a good idea.

The problem is, a sabbatical officer will be everywhere. You will not be able to avoid them if it all goes wrong. There’s probably massive posters of them up on the wall, emails from them each week, and of course, everyone knows who they are and will probably keep bringing the two of you up for a long time to come. It’s going to be pretty hard to get over someone when they’re so much around you.
